To conduct the activities of examinations, the Competent Authority shall engage following personnel on purely temporary basis for a specific period and honorarium shall be paid to them as per norms of the Board:-
Central Observer :
The Central Observer shall be appointed by the Chairperson for monitoring of conduct of various examinations at Board. Retired officers/ members of All India Services/ State Services or their equivalent shall be appointed as Central Observer. On appointment the working hours will be 9.00 AM to 6.00 PM during the examination activities. However it may change as per the need.
Duties of Central Observer for conduct of examinations : The Central Observer shall be responsible for maintaining confidentiality of various activities of examination starting from receipt of confidential material in strong room till declaration of result by the Board.
Supervisor :
The Supervisor shall be appointed by the Director to supervise various activities of examination such as scanning, valuation of answer sheets, result related data entry, data correction and result processing. Retired officers of the State Government, Central Government, Universities, Aided Collegiate level Institutions, Public Sector Undertakings or their equivalent shall be appointed as Supervisors. Supervisors shall be engaged for such a period as required in keeping with the nature of the work.
Duties of Supervisor for conduct of examinations:
The Supervisor shall be responsible for maintaining precision, accuracy and confidentiality of various activities related with result processing or any other relevant activities for which they have been appointed.
Observer :
The Observer shall be appointed by the Director of the Board. The Observers shall be the representative of the Board in examination city/centre and all activities concerning the examination shall be conducted under their observation. A serving/retired officer of the State Government, Central Government, Universities, Aided Collegiate level Institutions, Public Sector Undertakings or its equivalent shall be appointed as Observer.
Duties of Observer for conduct of examinations:
Observer to examination city appointed by the Board shall be responsible for confidentiality of confidential material and various activities of examination from the time of dispatch of confidential material from the Board till it is received by the Board after completion of examination in examination city
Termination of Duty :
On completion of the assigned work to personnel engaged on honorarium basis in various activities of examination, their appointment shall automatically stand cancelled. However, if at any point of time the Chairperson/ Competent Authority is satisfied that the personnel engaged in various activities of examination are lacking in conscientiousness and diligence in the discharge of assigned responsibilities, their appointment shall be terminated with immediate effect and he or she shall be subjected to disciplinary action by the State Government/ Competent Authority for their acts of omission and commission, and/ or in addition to any other action which may be invited upon them under the Law of the Land. The decision of the Chairperson/ Competent Authority in respect of unsatisfactory performance or lacking of duties in any manner by all such personnel so engaged shall be final and conclusive in respect of Board.
